How we can help get the best for your son/daughter, school or university.

Parents

Wanting the best for your son or daughter is understandable and you may feel you have to do all the leg work to get them where they need to be, which is probably how you found yourself reading this!

Maybe you did a season and remember it with a foggy fondness, perhaps you’ve come back from holiday after being superbly hosted by a young person just like your son or daughter, or are you being pestered to pay for our course but have a few queries regarding what’s involved. Here we will provide you with the answers to your questions, and the reassurance that…yes…they can do it and that…yes…it is a fantastic opportunity for them!

I want to give you a massive thank you but also to say that I take my hat off to you both for providing such an incredible course. Archie had the most amazing week with you - he absolutely loved it and came back with so much information, some great recipes, but best of all he felt prepared for whatever the season could throw at him....

He thought you were both incredible and so helpful and you gave him so many tips and helped him hit the ground running and to go in feeling like he knew what was coming .... I am so proud of what he achieved, but also amazingly grateful that we found you and Fresh Tracks which helped him get the job and then survive it!

Schools

Careers Advisors and teachers play a hugely significant role in helping young people look beyond the classroom towards their futures. In recent years, there has been progress with the introduction of the Gatsby Benchmarks, Skills Builder Framework, Careers Hubs, and greater employer engagement.

Working together we can support you with meeting these agendas, as well as helping your students succeed on their next steps, either through completing their Gold DofE, raising awareness of chalet hosting as a gap year opportunity, or through supporting them with the key life skills as they move to independent living and higher education.

If you would like further details on how we can help you and your students click on the link below and we will be in touch.

We just wanted to convey our thanks once again for delivering your talk on Friday. The time you gave in preparing for and being with us to speak with the students is so greatly appreciated.

From the feedback we’ve received from students we can see what an impact your talks have made and the actions they have been inspired to take.

Universities

The transition to University life can be a real challenge for some young people. For them to succeed and make the most of this opportunity it is essential they have the right life skills to enable them to manage their academic workload, navigate the new challenges they are facing as well as maintain a healthy balance in their university life.

Traditionally, universities have been focused on developing a student’s academic abilities but there is increasing emphasis on the need to recognise their holistic experience with a greater awareness of the importance of life skills to ensure their retention and course completion, as well as their satisfaction and enjoyment.
