Course Structure

Our live Zoom course costs just £295 per student

The course price includes: 5 days (4 hours per day) of live tuition on all aspects of chalet hosting, a comprehensive 7-day cooking programme - building your skills towards hosting a three course dinner party and a log book template to document your achievements.

Also included is a Level 2 food hygiene course, personalised CV and application help and a reference from us.

The course also comes with the usual Fresh Tracks Course Manual, Fresh Tracks Chalet Cookbook and our online “Getting A Job” course (including CV Writing Kit) to help with applications.

Live Lessons

Chalet hosting is about far more than just cooking so in these live zoom theory lessons we introduce you to the other aspects of the chalet host role. Through group discussion we also explain how chalet cooking techniques may be different to what you might ordinarily do at home.

Self-Paced Cooking Programme

Alongside the theory sessions, we have designed a step by step chalet cooking programme for you to work through at home at your own pace. This will build your cooking skills through the week and apply the theory you have learnt via the live lessons. By the end of the seven days you will be able to host a full three course chalet-style dinner for members of your household.

Log Book

Demonstrable experience is the key to getting a job as a chalet host, so we have designed a log book template for you to document your learning and show off your newly acquired skills. This will be great evidence to present to employers - not only of your achievements, but of your self-motivated attitude.

“Thank you all for the course, it has been extremely helpful, and taught us a lot about what the role will be, and how we can best succeed.”
— Dominic Tyler and Katie Bruce
